No Child a Slave: The Tour

Some amazing people are coming to town, and we’d like you to meet them.


250,000 Haitian children are living in a form of modern slavery called restavèk. With your support, grassroots leaders like the two in this video are on the front lines of the movement to end child slavery in Haiti.

Alina “Tibebe” Cajuste grew up in restavèk slavery and is now an inspiring leader working with other adult survivors for the elimination of restavèk.

Guyto Derosiers, the Coordinator of Beyond Borders’ Child Protection Program, heads a team of powerful trainers who are expanding our network of Child Rights Activists in Port-au-Prince.

This May, Tibebe and Guyto will be touring the East Coast to raise awareness about this grave injustice and what you can do to help end restavèk in our lifetimes.
